Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a personal color analysis cost?

Personal Color Analysis is $350. This includes:

  • A comprehensive, personalized draping in the 12 Tone method of color analysis
  • Your season’s archival canvas swatch book and wallet sized color card including 78 colors each ($100 value)
  • Consultation on how to use your swatch book to evaluate your current wardrobe and shop for your season
  • Consultation on cosmetics for your season if wanted
  • Discussion of questions you have
  • Ongoing support and resources

Who did you train with?

I trained with Cate Linden, who was trained by Terry Wildfong of Your Natural Design, in 2025.

Which swatch books do you use?

I provide swatch books from NDU colors (Natural Design United). They are produced in the United States from high quality, archival canvas. Even the canvas itself is made in the United States.

Which drapes do you use?

Both my test drapes and my luxury drapes are from Natural Design United. My test drapes are matte broadcloth, and my luxury drapes are a variety of materials and sheens giving you a comprehensive view of your season in real life fabrics.

Do you use special lighting?

I use full spectrum lighting to create neutral lighting conditions which help ensure the accuracy of your color analysis. Additionally, I use a neutral gray backdrop and wear a neutral gray coat to prevent any background colors from influencing your analysis. During the draping process, you will also wear a neutral gray cape and bonnet.

Can I bring someone with me to my analysis?

Yes, I welcome adults and children 12+ who can entertain themselves during the analysis. Please let me know ahead of time so I can be sure there is a comfortable space for your guest.

Do you offer shortened sessions for groups?

I do not offer abbreviated sessions simply because there is no way to shorten the process while maintaining accuracy.

How do rosacea/acne/scarring/wrinkles/hyperpigmentation impact a personal color analysis?

Imperfections are normal and can actually be helpful in the draping process. Certain colors may highlight or accentuate such imperfections. Although your best season won’t erase them (I want you to look like YOU), it will reveal a harmony that minimizes imperfections and draws our eyes to yours and to YOU.
